The Abel Tasman National Park is a great place to explore. It offers one of New Zealand's Great Walks, the Abel Tasman Coastal Track, beautiful beaches and blue-green waters to cool off in. Guided walks are available or enjoy walking the tracks yourself.

If you snorkel or scuba dive there's a marine reserve and if you enjoy sea kayaking then you can launch straight from the beach at Little Kaiteriteri. You can even swim with the New Zealand fur seals.

Wander up to Kaiteri Beach to catch a water taxi into the park or why not take a cruise and enjoy a day on the water?

If you like you can take a flight over the park or if you're an adrenaline junkie you can try some stunt flying or parachuting from the aerodrome in Motueka or go climbing or abseiling in the region.

Or why not go on a wine and vineyard tour, try your hand at fly fishing or sea fishing, take in a round of golf or just enjoy a good book on your veranda in the sunshine?

There is so much to do in the Nelson and Tasman regions that you'll wish you could stay longer.
